🚨Class Alert 🚨@refinedandstrong #FunctionalRangeSystems • • • ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ In tomorrow’s @Kinstretch class at #CrossFitTriBeCa (12pm at 281 Broadway) we will use a resistance band to work on Unilateral Scapular & Shoulder CARs (Controlled Articular Rotations). #Kinstretch #RefinedAndStrong -•- Unilateral Scapular CARs Stand on a light/medium resistance band with one foot, and hold onto it with the arm at your side. There should be enough resistance on the band that you have to work against it, but not too much where it pulls you out of alignment and prevents the scapula from rotating. Keep the arm straight at your side as your are moving through Scapular CARs. 👉🏻 Working against the resistance and downward pull of the band affects the Scapular CARs movement in the following ways: ▪️Requires additional irradiation through the arm, which helps prevent elbow flexion ▪️Working against the pull of the band makes it easier to feel the movement ▪️Brings the arm in line with the thigh (i.e. straight line from shoulder through arm and along band down to floor) => makes it harder to compensate by moving the arm forward and back ▪️Working unilaterally against the pull of the band requires the body to irradiate more, making it easier to prevent compensations in the torso -•- Unilateral Shoulder CARs Keep the same setup with the band and then perform Shoulder CARs with the free arm on the other side. Think of opposing the downward pull of the band to keep the torso long and upright (i.e. don’t allow lateral flexion towards the band) as the shoulder moves through its full range of motion. 👉🏻 Even though the resistance band is no longer directly affecting the target joint of the CARs movement, it still has an important purpose: ▪️Working against the pull of the band helps create more irradiation throughout the body ▪️The body has to actively resist being pulled into lateral flexion (away from the working arm), which also happens to be a common compensatory movement during Shoulder CARs. ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🔻🔻🔻⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ #FunctionalRangeSystems #Kinstretch #ControlYourself #Mobility #BodyControl #JointHealth #Controlyourselfevenmore

✴️Class Clip✴️ @hines_strength #FunctionalRangeSystems • • • ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ 💥Cramp city💥 —— 🎥Here’s a class clip from my Kinstretch class where we were working on Hip extension PAILS/RAILS. —— ⚙️The goal here is to help increase hip extension through active isometric contractions on both sides of the joint and including as many muscle fibres as possible. —— Coaching cues: 1️⃣ Start in couch stretch for hip flexors (you can use a block on back foot if you cannot grab the foot to increase quad stretch). 2️⃣ After 2 minute stretch, irradiate up to desired intensity and imagine pushing you knee into the floor while pulling it forward like you would scooping out icecream, kick foot into your hand (or block), hold for duration of rep (10 seconds this case). 3️⃣ Reset breath and irradiate tension, push hip into extension while actively pulling ankle toward hip (this should make your hammy light up and cramp!) 4️⃣ Relax into new stretch position ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🔻🔻🔻⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ #FunctionalRangeSystems #Kinstretch #ControlYourself #Mobility #BodyControl #JointHealth #Controlyourselfevenmore

Social Blade

Another sign that someone has been dabbling in the paid follower trade is when their daily increase in followers is inconsistent. Our basic test does not cover this metric. But you can obtain this information by regularly checking, and checking out the follower changes per day. When the account has a spike in followers gained, it is a sure sign that something has caused it, and probably not something organic.

Another aspect to check is the quality of the followers an account has. When using a paid follower service it is sometimes evident that the users who are following you are following a LOT of other people also. When you come across a supposedly normal user account that is following 1,000+ other users and has only 100 followers, it might indicate they are one of the accounts paid to follow people. Some accounts may have valid reasons for this, but the average user couldn't manage reviewing 1,000+ posts every few days.
