Kinstretch Instructor, FRCms, FRAs @coach_christinamarie ・・・ “Oh..yeah. You’re getting older. That happens now.” . 👆🏽that’s what people told me when I told them how I‘d wake up with my shoulder in excruciating pain from sleeping with it straight up overhead and laying on it. I’d wake up and think “holy 💩. That hurts so bad. There has to be something wrong with it. This can’t be right. I don’t even want to move because I know it’s going to suck.” I was told it was just part of getting older, and that’s the way it was going to be. . I also came to a point where throwing anything with my dominant arm would kill my shoulder( I got caught in a few too many kimuras in Bjj), so I stopped throwing anything with that arm. . When I was training for my first Muay Thai fight, I had to stop jump roping because my other shoulder didn’t like to hang out in that externally rotated position and that would kill too. So it was jump rope, or be able to throw a punch and “That’s just the way it was.” . Flash forward one year into applying @functionalrangeconditioning principles and training with @hunterfitness , and this morning I literally sprung out of bed to turn off my AC unit and never at any point felt stiff, stuck, or in pain. I realized after how funny and incredible that was. I don’t remember the last time I woke up with my shoulder killing me from “sleeping wrong”. . Yesterday in the gym I decided to test throwing something. No pain. . Guess what: It doesn’t have to be that way. It’s not just because you’re getting older, and it’s definitely not something to just accept. Make your shit work nice, and that pain dissipates along with it. . Now I get to coach this work, and I’m so grateful to pass this knowledge on to all of my clients. Grateful for all the people in this system smarter than me who continue to share their knowledge . . @functionalrangeconditioning #FunctionalRangeConditioning #FunctionalRangeSystems #FRCms #ControlYourself #MSWN . . #lifestyle #MoveWellFeelWell #WorkoutOfTheDay #StrongWomen #Athlete #StrongIsFeminine #Fitness #Bjj #JiuJitsu #CheckmatBJJ #Training #GirlsWhoLift #Mobility #Mma #HipHealth #KneeHealth

💥TESTIMONIAL: FRS Summit 2019 Kinstretch Instructor, FRCms & FRAs @beardthebestyoucanbe #FunctionalRangeSystems • • • ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There are levels to this, and there is no one in our industry that is understanding, and/or explaining, these levels better than FRS _ This isn’t just about being a part of something for me. I’m saying this because of my deep belief in this system. In the science that is presented. I just agree with the material, concepts, principles, thought process, etc. _ Perhaps we have a misunderstanding as to what “fitness” is. A misunderstanding on what “strength training” should look like. Maybe the lens in how we view our health and performance is blurred _ We are Homo Sapiens. Athletic creatures evolved to hunt, fight, and fuck. We were meant to be strong, resilient, and athletic. Our movement quality is directly correlated to our quality of life. How does 90% of what “fitness” is today helps us improve in human ways? _ 2-3 years ago my body was broken. No mobility, no flexibility, often injured, chronic pain, and losing my athleticism quickly. Today, I am a product of this work. People ask me where do they start. How can they begin this process. Well, just do what I did. Surround yourself with smart people, and listen. These are the most brilliant minds I’ve found. Go take a seminar and see for yourself. Then implement the work on yourself and see what’s possible _ I am so proud to be surrounded by practitioners who give a fuck. Who care about their craft. Who care about human health. To those out there who are eager to learn and grow, but don’t have the answers yet, it’s okay. Take the steps to learn and grow. There is no shame. We all must evolve and go through that process. A process that never ends _ A few years ago I was a part of the problem in this industry, but I was always eager to learn and grow. I just didn’t know where to find the answers I was looking for. 7 FRS seminars later, and I have a lot more answers now (MSWN). Thank you team FRS. Appreciate y’all. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🔻🔻🔻 #FunctionalRangeSystems #FunctionalRangeConditioning #FRCms #Mobility #ControlYourself #JointHealth #MSW

FRS Assistant Instructor @chungychung ・・・ Straight leg flexion EQI. After this year’s Functional Range Summit, I’ve been thinking more about Eccentric Quasi Isometrics. Here is a variation of a straight leg hip flexion EQI that you can use to keep you honest in your effort. I start with a long sit passive range lift off and hold that as long as I can. As I fatigue and my leg wants to drop, I simply slide my hands back. This reduces the leverage my leg has over my hip and slowly pulls me out of hip flexion. This may not look like one but this serves to load my hip eccentrically as I reach toward failure in my range of motion. All you need is one set. If you want more overload, throw an ankle weight on and see how long you last. 🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻 #FunctionalRangeSystems #FunctionalRangeRelease #FRrelease #FunctionalRangeConditioning #FunctionalRangeAssessment #KINSTRETCH #ControlYourself #FunctionalAnatomySeminars

FRS assistant instructor @briangfox ・・・ Our Functional Range Assessment found neurological tension in the hip joint. In this case the hip joint has closing angle joint pinch/pain upon internal rotation/flexion (shown) and opening angle neurological tension in abduction. When nearing the pinch point(s) the surrounding tissues engage to protect the joint (flexion/IR shown). The joint capsule’s job is to provide the nervous system with information from the external environment (afference). If the joint can’t move optimally and senses threat, it will be compensated for to prevent injury and therefore is inhibited to learn optimally. . Our goal is to normalize joint function by decreasing the neurological tension so that we can provide an optimal learning environment for the nervous system. . Controlling the external environment using positional isometrics, these force based inputs are aimed to bring the tissue to a safe, controlled maximal effort followed by a conscious effort of relaxation of said tissues. Thus providing specific information to the joint in various positions to give it a rich learning experience that doesn’t involve any pain, pinching, etc. Followed by capsular CARs to continue the adaptation process without external cueing. (NOT SHOWN) . 🔻🔻🔻 #functionalrangesystems #functionalrangeassessment #functionalrangerelease #functionalrangeconditioning #controlyourself 🔻🔻🔻🔻 #humananimation #manualtherapy #manualpractitioner #practicemakesbetter #shoulderinjury #rehabilitation #prehabilitation #injury #accommodatingresistance #bands #treatment #mobility #jointhealth

Social Blade

Another sign that someone has been dabbling in the paid follower trade is when their daily increase in followers is inconsistent. Our basic test does not cover this metric. But you can obtain this information by regularly checking Socialblade.com, and checking out the follower changes per day. When the account has a spike in followers gained, it is a sure sign that something has caused it, and probably not something organic.

Follower Analysis

Another aspect to check is the quality of the followers an account has. When using a paid follower service it is sometimes evident that the users who are following you are following a LOT of other people also. When you come across a supposedly normal user account that is following 1,000+ other users and has only 100 followers, it might indicate they are one of the accounts paid to follow people. Some accounts may have valid reasons for this, but the average user couldn't manage reviewing 1,000+ posts every few days.
